In the past week, Switch got Stubbs the Zombie HD and a ten-game Neo Geo Pocket Color collection. Switch is killing it worldwide and has a growing number of retro titles. You stupidly had to buy the Battle features as a separate DLC. I'm not sure if that was due to some technical issues or because they were playing Sonic Adventure 2. Sonic Adventure 2 was re-released for PC/PS3/360 in 2012 but garnered mixed reviews. It has a uh, unique reputation these days but it seemingly maintains a sizeable fanbase possibly fueled by pure nostalgia, especially on the Nintendo side.ĭespite the game being successful on the GCN, it's never reappeared on a Nintendo system. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is a special game for a lot of Nintendo fans due to it being the first Sonic game on a Nintendo console and releasing so soon after the GCN launch.
